I know I am late to this, but I am gratified to see that Elizabeth Arden has brought out an edition of 8-hour cream without the unholy stench. I know, I know, some people love it – but it is testament to how good 8HC is that I continue to purchase it despite that ghastly stink.
And now I no longer have to suffer! Hurrah for fragrance-free!
This tube from John Lewis is about £23 for 50ml. There are cheaper options available on Amazon but I’ve always felt a bit nervous about buying cosmetics off Amazon. Perhaps I am being neurotic.
I would, if it wasn’t for that it would clean out my bank-account (I can live with the slippery, stinky, shiny ‘feature’!) bathe my whole body in 8 Hour Cream. Literally. All of me. I go to bed with my forehead and eyes covered in the stuff… Sure, my head slips off the pillow and my husband thinks I sweat oddly but, hey, my skin demands it and who am I to say no!
Brilliant! I use fragrance free everything, smells just give me a headache. As does Amazon. You are right to avoid. Yes, you can get some good things, but you have to go through hell to get them! (or Amazon Customer Service as it is known…)
