Barbour rain mac

Oh god I LURVE this Barbour mac. Just the sort of thing I’m after. But at £199, it’s unjustifiable when my Seasalt Kellifray mac does the job just fine.

Anyway YOU get it, why don’t you?? Wear with collar turned up and breton top, skinny jeans, brogues and alice band for a kind of English-person-imitating-a-Japanese-person-imitating-a-French-person air.

Questions about the Kelifray – is it warm as well as waterproof, or quite light? Do you think it runs true to size? I have to buy everything online. I live in the sticks.

It is NOT warm – just extremely waterproof and windproof. you need a cosy underneath for chilly days like a thick sweater or Uniqlo puffa. The sizing is generous. I am 10-12 and take a size 10. It’s roomy, but you want that, with all the sweaters you’re going to wear underneath x

It looks gorgeous – WANT! Am still loving my year old Joules wax jacket with the lovely floral lining that I bought online on spesh for £79. They’re out again this year for £200+, which seems a bit mad when you can get a proper Barbour for that.

I love Jacky Fleming’s cartoons. There’s one along the lines of ‘in the time you wasted on him you could have qualified as a lawyer’ that I think should be part of the national curriculum.

Also excellent. Not forgetting, “Did you come?” “No. When I come I go aaaaaahh AAAAHHH aaaahhh”, which I’ve paraphrased more than once.
