Rainbows again

I’ve decided that rainbows are going to be absolutely everywhere in Spring, encouraged by Pernille Taisbaek in this post of hers.

At first I thought what would be fun would be to wait until the very best rainbow sweater arrived in, I don’t know, Topshop or Zara – or actually more likely Mango, Gap or J Crew. But then 48 hours went by and I got fed up with waiting.

So I went on Asos.com and found an insanely cute rainbow sweatshirt and a rainbow clutch bag on sale and got both. Soon I will be head-to-toe in rainbows! But only on the outside.

A note on Pernille Taisbaek – she looks on the surface like your worst nightmare: rake thin, Scandinavian, with access to an insane amount of free designer clothes and holidays, rake thin… And yet, her blog is really excellent. It’s not not a collection of mad, unwearable things put together completely randomly, (which is what fashion seems so often to be, even to fashionable people), it’s a pretty razor-sharp edit of what’s out there.

Okay, yes: you and I cannot afford pretty much any of the clothes she features, but you get the idea. I started looking at her blog almost from behind my hands-too-scared-to-look, but now I go to it regularly – and now that I know she’s on the rainbow wagon, why, she’s my new best friend.

I bought the sweatshirt to wear to a low key NYE party, it’s super comfy and infinitely wearable. Plus it made 2 of my friends sick with envy, which is always nice 😉

    Hi Esther
On the rainbow theme, I saw this on instagram and thought it might be up your street. Looks like a good new brand too. http://www.wyselondon.co.uk/products/breton-rainbow-jumper?bcsi_scan_6a9fa56c171475da=vrn9h2mYVLRLPXhmTuI+ae9BpPQPAAAAH3fHEw==&variant=13767467335
