If you’re interested in the new shape of dungarees this year, which is like this shape:
Zara does an excellent pair. I tried them on the other day and they are faultless, though I will not be wearing them because they are just too unforgiving. They look awful in the pic but are very convincing when on. You will have to take the trouser-part up, unless you are 9 feet tall, but that’s always the way with Zara.

Zara, £40
I’ve still got my shite old New Look pair from last year and I’m thinking about wearing mine more in this spirit:
No. Just no. They might possibly look good on 18 year old supermodels, but not on us regular humans. Oh, and WTF do you do when you have to pee and the whole lot ends up sitting on the floor in a public loo – that’s actually my main concern. Ye gads. #weeonstraps
I saw a lady wearing them last summer, black denim looser and more boyfriend fit like the 2nd pic- she had a white vest underneath and white sandals plus lovely shoulder bag- she looked really great! However my legs are far too short and stubby and arse too wide to pull off any incantation of dungarees, sadly!
Am so tempted by a pair for the Jersey beaches this summer – but then I saw some on a mannequin in M&S today and figured that was the kiss of death.
