It’s the season of the unexpected – possibly unwanted – sunbathing session whereby you can suddenly find yourself stuck in full, pelting sunlight, with no sun protection and no hat. If you are not a person who just goes a smooth golden brown by simply reading Conde Nast Traveller there is a genuine possibility that you will get very nastily burnt and it will be awful.
So on top of the SPF facial moisturiser that I do so hope, dear god, that you already use every day, like this one, for about £6…
… please also put in your bag every morning, alongside your rape alarm, iPhone charger and Pickled Onion flavour Monster Munch (what other life essentials are there?) this SPF spritzing mist from BioDerma.
It’s very clever. You can just mist it lightly over your face (over make-up) and over anything else exposed that, when burnt, will mark you out as a terrible cliche (tops of shoulders, a v-shape stamped in red on your decolletage. It’s only £9 and will last you the entire summer.
Very timely advice, this looks fab. Matthew had the best week of his young life last week as we went to the park about 15 times, but I now have a very freckley forehead and nose and on Thursday afternoon had ONE very red hand?!? Also had a severe panic attack on Wednesday that I had a sunburnt toddler (in April, in the UK??) but I didn’t, he was just a bit hot with flushed cheeks. A very good warning for me though, to better protect my red headed, blue eyed boy. Elaine x
Great post, thanks
Off to buy that! Any tips on a great face wash
Oooh yes – Checks and Balances by Origins is amazing! £15 and the bottle will last you a year x
I despair. You have some kind of witchcraft going on with your wittily written posts. You declare love for something and I, with sheeplike tendencies, immediately Google and purchase. So far, Stan Smiths, some glorious funky kids wear, a khaki jacket, a kids app, a book and now an SPF mist. Be off with you, harridan who makes me spend, spend, spend.
PS. I do not mean a single word, of course, I bloody relish a good spend.
BUUUYYY IIIIIT. BUY IT AAAALLLLLL
Ditto, ‘shewhofollowslikeasheep’!
At Christmas when asked for gift suggestions I told my husband to check out this blog and buy me anything that had been mentioned… Unfortunately he didn’t heed my advice and instead gave me a(nother!) slow cooker.
The Bioderma thing is news to me. This may possibly change my life.
