Kettlewell Colours

So, this bloody money diet then. I have coped by going back through old emails and saying “yes” to anyone who offered me a sample, which I had grandly turned down.

Kettlewell, who make good quality basics in a vast range of colours, were first on the list. Need a black polo neck in July? Kettlewell. Need a yellow vest in November? Kettlewell.

As it happens, I don’t have enough pink in my wardrobe. Pink doesn’t really suit me because I am quite pink already and wearing more pink has in the past made me look like luncheon meat.

BUT, in fact, a hint of pink is okay. So I rang up my friend at Kettlewell and screamed SEND ME PINK STUFF. And duly two vests arrived in the post.

This Long camisole in mellow rose, also for £25

Beautiful quality, lovely and stretchy. I was worried that the colours might be a bit flat, but they are both subtly toned shades of pink. I am a solid size 12 and got these in an M, which fit fine.

Are these tuck-in-able? They look lovely and long, but maybe too long to tuck in if required. Always on the search for good, long-lasting, vests.

Interesting, I’ve not heard of Kettlewell before. I just had a look – they say whether each colour would suit summer, winter etc. I’ve never had my colours done, have you?

I haven’t – I sort of know by trial and error though, I suit strong colours generally, rather than pastels… but I know people who have had their colours done and have found it really useful

Big fan of Kettlewell since having my colours done (House of Colour) – stop your eyes rolling back in your head now – it’s life changing!!! Please investigate! Makes online shopping and choosing clothes so much easier! And you feel superior from being ‘informed’ and making the ‘which colour should I buy this in’ choice with such decisiveness!

I like going to a charity shop when I’m on a money diet – it scratches the spending itch and theres always the chance you’ll find something really exciting.

Rosie yes, especially if you go to a charity shop somewhere mega posh like Notting Hill Gate or Marylebone
