A quick round-up of sweatpants available NOW based on DM recommendations off Instagram if yours are just too revolting and threadbare to leave the house in.
From H&M
Lots of people recommended Hush but their cosy ones now out of stock for Spring.

I also like the look of these, which I found on Sportsdirect – though isn’t Sports Direct very evil for some reason?
And I’m *pretty* sure if you sized up on these from Jack Wills, they would be good. Unless Jack Wills is a bridge too far, in which case just forget everything I said.
Please ignore how this girl is wearing hers, I OBVIOUSLY don’t expect you to wear yours with your tum tum out. Jesus.
These from Uniqlo
These from GAP:
ME&EM double striped joggers are v nice and don’t go all baggy at the knee…but maybe better suited to more clement weather as not terribly thick.
they need to be like freaking duvets
I think Sports Direct are thought of as evil cos owned by multi millionaire who – according to one of my sons – won’t spend any money on Newcastle FC which he owns! Kind of irrelevant but there you go. TK Maxx carries quite a good selection of sweat pants if you can face it!
Last time I used Sports Direct they didn’t do proper cash refunds – will only give store credit. Found out when I got football boots for my son. Maybe I can now finally spend that voucher. I don’t know if this is still the case, but mind how you go. Also if you order online they send you those hideous massive mugs to remind you of how they didn’t give you a refund that time, and there are only so many men with sheds one knows to pass them on to. I’ve always resisted joggers but these all look quite cool, and I’m so ill and cold they look especially tempting.
omg all good information. sorry you’re ill cinders
Hi Esther anyone who changes the name of a football ground as historic as St James’ Park (Newcastle) to something as inanely commercial as The Sports Direct Arena Is inherently evil!
Totally agree Nicole!
👍🏼 Nicole!
NOOOO!!! this is awful
for better or worse, i basically live in my black Uniqlo joggers all winter
Sports Direct: was in the news for using zero hours contracts … but they do sell cheap steel toecap boots and workwear and when you’ve got a teenager with ASD who needs stuff for college and needs to try on various sizes and styles and buy it right there and then, my moral objections somehow disappear. I’ve always found their staff to be immensely understanding and kind.
that counts for an awful lot
Gap also have LOADS of fleece jogger options (am wearing some right now, along with most of the clothes I own – despite the heating being on full blast)
Random.
My husband keeps talking about Fjallravn Silent hunting trousers. (He loves outdoor clothing) I did laugh at first but then realised you could wear insulated trousers without that swishing noise.
for creeping up on unsuspecting animals and then blowing their heads off!!! key piece of kit
Ha! ‘All the gear, no idea’ more like…
Surely also good for sneaking up on unsuspecting family members and shouting ‘boo!’?
Have just returned from Sainsb’y with quite decent warm-looking navy joggers for husband – £14 AND more importantly about 84% cotton. He will be wearing them for pilates and not to lounge about the house though. Winter is when you remember corduroy has a purpose, ditto moleskin.
I just very nearly bought a lovely warm pair from H&M. Plain black I thought. Got to the checkout and realised it had a massive orange gothic-script BIEBER written across the arse. Near miss.
LOL omg this is a great story. imagine if you hadn’t spotted it and they’d arrived… *scream emoticon face*
I’m still laughing at the Bieber story… you totally should have bought them and worn them with a most serious face!
This may be in Sports Direct territory but I swear by Jack Wills. I have never really recovered from the just given birth for the second time Juicy Couture in raspberry red so this not my arena if strength, admittedly.
