Much excitement over on my Instagram about these new little zit-busting patches.
They are clear plastic round little doobies that you put on one of those massive great big volcano zits overnight and in the morning they are fully 60% less bad.
I have tried these, from Victoria Health (they were sent to me by a PR) and they absolutely and totally work.

ZitSticka I have not personally tried, but by gum they have good marketing.

There are also a million knock-offs available on Amazon, but god knows if they’re any good.
How about you? Tried any killer zit patches recently? Please leave a memo for the group in the handy box below.
£20 for 8 zits?? I’m sure they work but I’ll NEVER be persuaded to drop my Origins Super Spot Remover bottle of MIRACLE gel for anything else! Always out of stock, because it damn well works. A tiny blob at night or in the morning ( you can plonk make up on top once it’s dried, which takes 2 seconds) er VOILA! GONE !!!! A teeny bottle which lasts months.
Carmen that Origins stuff simply doesn’t work on me! I know it’s incredibly popular with other people… these zit stickers are expensive, yes, good point, but if nothing else works for you, these might!
The Origins stuff doesn’t work on me either. Super cheap Witch Doctor skin treatment gel works though – I put it on before bed and it shrinks overnight.
Esther, would you say these patches are better than the Dr Gross zapper thingy you wrote about a while ago?
They’re good for different things; the light zapper is good for patches of acne but the patches are better than the light zapper for monster zits
In my sociable days I would willingly have handed £2.50 to anyone who promised to make my zit disappear by the following evening.
Personal top tip for uncontrollable massive zits in a large gathering social situ: cover up as best you can, embellish with one neat dot of brown eyeliner pencil or brow pencil – voilà, mole not zit. Obv will not fool people who know you well. Works well on back spots though you might need help with the dot from a girlfriend! Oh yes, set with spritz of hairspray.
Happy Easter Spikers!
I am a lurker on the Asian Skincare boards on Reddit and they’ve been going on about these too. Apparently they’re the exact same thing as hydrocolloid plasters (whatever they are) and people have just been snipping them down to size.
I’m tempted to get some & try them on my rosacea carbuncles.
CosRX Acne Pimple Master Patch are a Korean brand available on Amazon, and they work wonders for taking down swelling and keeping dirty fingers away from the spot. They come in a decent size pack (24 patches of various sizes per pack, each pack costs around 3-5 quid, depending on availability). I have been known to leave the house wearing them, as they are fairly discrete, and people are generally too polite mention it.
