It’s here again! Don’t get caught out panic-buying in these sales – instead take advantage of them to get your Christmas shopping done at a discount.
My advice is: this week, make your Christmas list, or just a list of stuff that you might need – and then stick to it. Try not to get side-tracked into fashion stuff or new shoes that you don’t need. Focus!
I will do what I did last year, which seemed helpful, was to post every day which stores were going on sale.
The key – and I know I am repeating myself, but this is important – is to make your list this week, really think about it and then you will just win, win, win when the sales really start happening.
A note on my commission: I will get commission if you buy stuff, paid for by the brand and not you. If you don’t want me to get the commission, clear the cookies on your laptop before you buy (sad emoticon face).
Yes!! I am focussing this year with a few key items for kids and husband. For sure one of the kids at least will be up during the night and I’ll end up buying random discounted things in my sleep deprived fog..
Eugh my 3 month old barely sleeps, my two year old has an awful cold so is up lots in the night and I am buying so many awful things online. Why does everything on prime seem so wonderful to my sleep addled brain at 3.30am??
That gives me such vivid flashbacks to having a baby who didn’t sleep and a 2 year old and the amount of utter rubbish I bought on my phone. Mine are just about to turn 3 and 5 and you’ll be pleased to know I’ve not bought anything in the middle of the night for ages now! Stay strong. Elaine xx
yeah… mine are 8 and 6 and I still buy WEIRD things at 9.30pm
Thank you! It’s such a dangerous habit! Imagine the things I could accumulate in 3 years!!
This is the best way to get the most out of Black Friday. And if I may make a suggestion? If there’s something you want on Amazon, put the url of the page for the item into camelcamelcamel and it will track the price for you and notify you once it reaches or falls below your desired price. That’s how I was able to buy the latest version of the Philips Lumea last year for less than £250.
Please keep this going – I need to be ruthlessly efficient this Black Friday….
I just want to say that your recommend for Dusky Rose from Beauty Pie has just arrived at my house and wow, it’s so nice. Absolutely love the colour and texture. Cheers!
It’s brilliant isn’t it!!
Esther, please would you be so kind as to help out hapless male lurkers with the usual ‘here is good shit to buy your wife thank me later guide’.
