There’s something fascinating about these clompy sandals, which are from Office. They are part ugly dumpy shoe, part slutty stripper-wear. I think they are terrific. Although, fall over in them and you’d do your ankle something rotten. You will notice that I have not painted my toenails for this picture. I have decided that I refuse to bow to such… View Post
I love this new interiors wesbsite, Edit 58, which sells finds collected from Morroco and the Americas at totally okay prices. It’s all very rough sort of tribal textiles, which is a look, as I’m sure you well know, that is insanely fashionable at the moment. My favourites:
A bummer about really cold weather is the limitations it puts on what you can wear. When it’s hovering around freezing outside, I look at all my coats and think “Ugh but I’ll be so cold,” and reach for a puffa jacket. Again. It serves a “Northern Chinese breakfast”, which is a lot of tofu, sweet and savoury buns, fried dumplings and dumplings in omelettes. All really terrific but perhaps a bit strange at 10am on… View Post
I honestly wish I could go about dressed like this, but I’m not sure I can. Not even in North London! Perhaps a look to save for the countryside (though they don’t really go about dressed like this either…)
I got these kind of sateen polyester culottes in the Zara sale for £7 and they are actually very jolly. I wore them with black tights and white trainers last week, the only drawback to this otherwise amusing outfit being that the feeling of sateen/polyester upon tights in a cold breeze is absolutely unholy.
Buy These extremely chic and, most important, very practical baby bloomers for friend with new baby – or your own baby, even. From the very modern and completely British Clary&Peg. Also, only £15, but could be from Bonpoint. Cook Start practising your Hallowe’en biscuits this weekend, using this gingerbread recipe. Inhale First Defence. We are right in cold season, if… View Post
